A Drift architectural and landscape proposal for the landlocked islands within the highway network, transforming overlooked residual spaces into vibrant destinations for pedestrians, cyclists and visitors. Envisioned as a flowing ribbon through the landscape, the park weaves together sculpture, cultural events, food, recreation and places to gather, drawing inspiration from the fluid forms of the desert and a native xeriscape planting palette to celebrate regional heritage.
