Tucked within one of Dubai’s oldest neighbourhoods stands a cluster of 45-year-old bungalow villas, rich with character and history. This refurbishment project reimagines one of these homes with a palette of earthy tones, soft arches, and fluid open spaces that invite light and nature deep into the interior. The garden, composed of a xeriscape of resilient desert species, extends this dialogue with the landscape, creating a calm, grounded retreat that honours the spirit of its original setting while embracing a contemporary sensibility.
