KHOR D3 is an experiential public art and architectural installation inspired by Dubai Creek, conceived as a proof of concept for the larger Khor project in collaboration with artist Kav Ahangar. Reinterpreting the creek’s cultural memory, it draws on the timber of the abra, harbour ropes, tiled pathways and coloured glass of historic mosques and homes to create a contemporary sanctuary.

Through the careful orchestration of geometry, material, light and climate, KHOR creates an atmosphere that invites visitors to slow down, reconnect with their surroundings and move from the rhythm of the city towards the quieter rhythm within.
