W18 is a concept apartment designed for a digital client, conceived as a distilled showcase of spatial clarity and material poetry. A series of linear ceiling slots align precisely with a sweeping curved concrete wall, while gentle inward bending cuts in the vertical walls open the vista-framing windows. These calibrated geometries maximise the movement and modulation of natural light, creating an ever-shifting atmospheric quality throughout the day: playful yet disciplined, subtly echoing Ando’s quiet rationality.

The kitchen continues this architectural language with a composition of pure planes and restrained detailing. Its simplicity foregrounds the honesty of the materials, offering a calm, contemplative counterpoint to the dramatic forested landscape beyond. Together, these elements form an interior that feels both deliberate and serene: a crafted vessel that reflects, frames, and celebrates the passage of light and the presence of nature.
